A beloved annual tradition for River Studio, our Día de los Muertos Community Exhibition features artists of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Día de los Muertos is a beautiful celebration in Mexican and Central American cultures where we reunite with our loved ones who have passed on. By creating an ofrenda (altar), placing pictures of them and offering their favorite things, it is believed that on Día de Muertos, the veil between the living and the dead drops, and they come back to visit us. Visitors are also invited to bring pictures, marigolds, totems, & non-perishable items to
