The parade is at The Crossroads shopping center (Crossroads Blvd, off Highway 1 at Rio Rd), not downtown — the film festival's Golden Bough block is unaffected. Gates open 8:00 am, parade 9:30 am.
Registration (500 dogs, $60) closed Sep 30; watching is free.
Evening parties are open to poodle people: Friday 5–7 pm at Allegro Pizza (Barnyard), Wrath (Carmel Plaza), Mad Dogs & Englishmen (Ocean & Mission) and De Tierra (Mission near 5th); Saturday at Cypress Inn and Vin By the Sea (4–6), the Crossroads BBQ (5–7) and Mad Dogs & Englishmen (6–8).
Hoodline reports off-leash poodle play on Carmel Beach as part of the day; no time is published, so it is not on the schedule below.
The organizers have not announced any street closures.
